Collection Tin Volunteer
Additional Information / Requirements:
To represent the Hospice in public locations by collecting and replacing Weston Hospicecare collecting tins from agreed locations in Clevedon, Yatton and Congresbury and delivering them to the Supporter Care office based in Uphill, Weston-super-Mare.

Companion
Additional Information / Requirements:
To provide emotional support for patients and/or carers who may benefit from company. You will need to have your own transport, have good listening skills, be self aware, and flexible with a good sense of humour. For more information please call Susan Gerry-Riley on .

Fundraising - Events/Community Support Volunteer
Additional Information / Requirements:
We have an opportunity for a volunteer to support our lively fundraising team. You don’t need need to have any previous experience, you just need to be friendly with a good telephone manner, preferably with some computer skills and happy to work in a busy friendly environment.

Housekeeper
Additional Information / Requirements:
To assist our housekeeping team with general office cleaning such as vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting etc as well as laundry.

In-patient Unit (IPU) Hospitality Volunteer
Additional Information / Requirements:
To contribute to the quality of the patient’s experience of the In-patient Unit (IPU) by helping to ensure that they receive a good choice of enjoyable meals. Support IPU and Kitchen staff by liaising directly with the patient about their menu choices. Serve refreshments and food also collect feedback. Serve refreshments to both patients and cares.
Suggested Involvement:
We are hoping to be able to support the In-patient Unit team 7 days per week so there will be 2 shifts per day available:
- Lunch: 11.30am to 1.30pm
- Supper: 5pm to 7pm
Mystery Shopper
Additional Information / Requirements:
Visiting Weston Hospicecare shops as a customer or donor and providing feedback of your experiences to the Head of Retail.
